What should we do to prepare for an inventory?

Having an organized store will increase the efficiency of our team and help us take up less of your time.  A well prepared store can save you money on the inventory service itself.  Organizing back rooms with easy access to open cases and neatly stacked full cases with item UPC’s visible are just a few of the things you can do to help the process go smoothly.  We have a list of detailed prep procedures that we can provide you well in advance of inventory day.

Can you help reconcile our Point of Sale (POS) system?

Yes.  We are fluent with a multitude of systems.  We do more than just perform the count; we look for anomalies in your current items file and flag those issues for resolution prior to the count.  Invalid set up and configuration of your item file can cause the system to improperly import the inventory results.  If the inventory imports incorrectly, you will lose confidence in the results and ultimately not receive the value from your investment.

How long will it take to get our results?

As soon as the count is complete, we handle the import process which will reflect the result in your POS immediately after import. 

What happens if I have issues after the count?

Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have questions or concerns after we’ve been in your store. Many of our frequent clients have a team lead’s phone number, and use it!  We encourage you to be involved in the process and never want you to feel like we’ve left you confused or lacking information.

What if I don’t have an item file?

This comes up from time to time.  We have a very efficient process for building the item file for you. This is typically asked when a new POS is being implemented.  There are many variables to consider to ensure you end up with a good result.  We have a unique process that we would love to share more in depth with you.  Call us for details.
