When counting inventory, it is imperative to count each unique item separately and accurately. Monarch provides liquor inventory software reconciliations, ownership transition inventories, loss prevention techniques and consultation. Monarch’s proprietary tablet technology platforms provides customers with real-time insights into the live inventory count and ensures unparalleled accuracy.
Have you ever looked at your personal financial statements and wondered “Where did my money go?” It takes some time to investigate what happened. It could have been an unexpected expense from two months prior that you had forgotten about, a data entry error that was simply overlooked, or a fraudulent charge on your credit card. The bottom line is that you can’t just let it go, you need to find the source of the problem so that you can correct it and ensure you are managing your money effectively. The same is true in a liquor store operation, and with so many variables to keep track of, it can make monitoring your inventory a challenge. Variables that arise from seasonal beers, pick 6, converting 30 packs into 6 packs, and of course the ever-changing UPCs are just a few of the variables that can make it easy to lose track of your inventory. These same variables will make it difficult for a third party service to get accurate results if they are not familiar with your operation.
At Monarch, we specialize in liquor store inventories. You simply cannot count a retail grocery store the same way you count a liquor store. Our processes and technology combine to account for every variable that exists within your liquor store. We validate the results as we count. Our software flags problems quickly to ensure all human error is removed from the count. When we finish the count, the data is at 99.9% accuracy. We do much more than just hand over the verified results in an electronic file, we work with you AND your POS provider to ensure our verified results are loaded accurately and that your system reflects what we captured in the liquor store count. If this last step is not completed correctly, you will be unable to obtain the full value from your investment in our service. We can also provide you with item level details to show you where you’re over and under in your inventory. This information will give you visibility into where processes may be broken and where inventory may be walking out the door.
Having an organized store will increase the efficiency of our team and help us take up less of your time. A well prepared store can save you money on the inventory service itself. Organizing back rooms with easy access to open cases and neatly stacked full cases with item UPC’s visible are just a few of the things you can do to help the process go smoothly. We have a list of detailed prep procedures that we can provide you well in advance of inventory day.
Yes. We are fluent with a multitude of systems. We do more than just perform the count; we look for anomalies in your current items file and flag those issues for resolution prior to the count. Invalid set up and configuration of your item file can cause the system to improperly import the inventory results. If the inventory imports incorrectly, you will lose confidence in the results and ultimately not receive the value from your investment.
As soon as the count is complete, we handle the import process which will reflect the result in your POS immediately after import.
Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have questions or concerns after we’ve been in your store. Many of our frequent clients have a team lead’s phone number, and use it! We encourage you to be involved in the process and never want you to feel like we’ve left you confused or lacking information.
This comes up from time to time. We have a very efficient process for building the item file for you. This is typically asked when a new POS is being implemented. There are many variables to consider to ensure you end up with a good result. We have a unique process that we would love to share more in depth with you. Call us for details.
